Summer Stewardship Events

During the months of June, July and August we organize stewardship projects in Hyalite. These events are usually scheduled on either a weekday evening or on a weekend. See the summer stewardship events planned for 2026 below. More information on each event will be announced on social media (Facebook, Instagram) and via email to members of the Friends of Hyalite mailing list. We also work with local schools, churches, and other community organizations who want to volunteer with projects in Hyalite Canyon. Email us at info@hyalite.org for more information.

Summer Stewardship Opportunities in 2026

June 6 - Jackleg Fence building - meet at the Moser parking lot. Work is scheduled for 9:00am to Noon.

August 1 - Paint the Maxey cabin and barn - meet at the Maxey cabin at 10:00 am. Work is scheduled for 10:00am to 2:00pm.

August 27 - Graffiti Painting/cover up -meet at the east end of the dam; plan to paint from 6:00pm to 8:30pm.
